Multihulls World, the international magazine of catamarans and trimarans, in collaboration with the International Multihull Boat Show, nominated Ice Cat 61 for the Multihull of the year 2018 award.
Ice Cat was born from the partnership between Ice Yachts and engineer Enrico Contreas, father of the legendary Mattia catamaran and one of the most experien ced catamaran designers. Together, Ice Yachts and Contreas, have begun the design and development of a new generation of catamarans that boast sleek lines and are a completely new version of the legendary Sbandato, i.e. the Mattia 56, which features
outstanding speed and manoeuvrability for a yacht of this length (18.60 metre)
